Oklahoma for the most part does not recognize CPMs yet. This is a state that has only a few midwives. There are many younger women who are already involved in supporting birth in some capacity. The younger generation has interest in the Big Push. I will gladly share my experience in helping the Big Push here. I was involved with the legislative committee for the Midwives Association of Florida for many years. I still am a FL LM and a CPM and now live in OK.
